    Hey guys,
    I've wanted to prospect and pan for some gold since a few years back when i found a single tiny flake in the Lamprey River in Raymond.
    I'm wondering if anyone has done any up in the northern part of the Connecticut? Or other parts of the Lamprey?

    Hi,
    Hope this is not a tourist scam; 'scuse me I'm suspicious of everything these days. Like your site btw, and thanks.
    I've been fascinated with gold prospecting for years but never did any; basically a city guy and live in Slate Hill, NY. Would police harass Nyers for gold panning up there? I'm a bit naive I admit, didn't know there was any land free to dig on the east coast. Do you need a permit for any of this?
    I'll wait until summer for a trip, and learn more 'til then; maybe build a hand pump.

    I've been doing a lot of panning in Vermont - the Broad Brook area. Nothing yet but I keep trying. Looking for people to go with once things thaw out a bit. I live in Saratoga NY.

    found three gold peices of i believe is gold very bright yellow almost like it glows.couid this be anything else
